From 12 April, the boat season starts again and you will have the most beautiful view of all the castles and villas on Lake Starnberg from the water and, like Sissi, you can indulge yourself in the hustle and bustle on the water.
It is the largest open-air museum in southern Bavaria and is open from 19 March to 11 November. In over 60 originally preserved buildings you can wander and look at a journey back in time to the everyday rural life of the people in Upper Bavaria.
